No evidence — video, police records, or otherwise — has ever surfaced of mass celebrations in New Jersey on 9/11. PolitiFact rated the claim "Pants on Fire."
"Firefighters carried him to safety near Ground Zero "right after" the attacks, when a nearby building started to creak and threatened to collapse."
Trump was at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan, miles from Ground Zero, when the towers fell. Fact-checkers found no evidence he was rescued by firefighters there, and his own account of when it supposedly happened has shifted between "the same day" and "a couple of days" later.
"He "predicted" Osama bin Laden and the 9/11 attacks in his 2000 book, warning "we better take him out.""
Trump's 2000 book "The America We Deserve" mentions bin Laden exactly once, in passing, as an example of muddled U.S. foreign policy — it contains no warning, no call to "take him out," and no prediction of an attack on American soil.
